എന്താണ് "വാള്‍സ്ട്രീറ്റ് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കല്‍" സമരക്കാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍?

കുറെ ആഴ്ചകളായി അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ഒരു സമരം നടക്കുന്നു , അത് അമേരിക്കയിലെ കോര്പരെറ്റ് ഭീമന്മാര്‍ക്ക് ഭീഷണി ആയി ലോകം മുഴുവന്‍ വ്യാപിക്കുന്നു. ഇന്നത്തെ പത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ആലപ്പുഴയില്‍ ഈ സമരത്തിനു ഐക്യദാര്‍ഡ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു ജാഥ കൂടി നടക്കുന്നു എന്ന് കേട്ടപ്പോള്‍ എന്താണീ "Occupy Wall Street" എന്ന് ഒന്ന് വായിച്ചു കളയാം എന്ന് കരുതി.

വാള്‍സ്ട്രീറ്റ് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കല്‍ സമരക്കാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളില്‍ കൂടി കണ്ണോടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ആണ് ഇന്ത്യ പോലെ ഒരു മൂന്നാം ലോക രാജ്യത്തെ പ്രജകള്‍ പോലും ആ സമരത്തിന്‌ പിന്തുണ കൊടുക്കുന്നതിന്റെ കാരണം എനിക്ക് മനസിലായത് . അമേരിക്കന്‍ ജനതയെ കോര്പരറ്റ് കമ്പനികള്‍ അതിഭീകരമായ ചൂഷണത്തിന് വിധേയമാക്കുന്നു. കോര്പോരെറ്റ് കമ്പനികള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഇവിടെയും സമരങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ? അമേരിക്കന്‍ ജനതയുടെ ജീവിതസാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ നേരിട്ട് കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തതു കൊണ്ടു കുറെ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ എനിക്ക് മനസിലയാതെ ഇല്ല .മോര്‍ത്ഗേജ് അന്യായമായി കയ്യടക്കുന്നു എന്നും മനുഷ്യന്റെ സ്വകാര്യത കച്ചവടം ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നും അതിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിക്കുക എന്നുമൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഇന്ത്യ പോലെ ഒരു രാജ്യത്തു മനസിലാവാന്‍ പ്രയാസമാണ് . നമ്മള്‍ ഇവിടെ സമരം ചെയ്യുന്നത് റോഡ്‌ നന്നാക്കി കിട്ടുവാനും കുടിവെള്ളം ഒരു നേരമെങ്കിലും കിട്ടുവാനും ആണല്ലോ?

സമരക്കാരുടെ വെബ്സൈറ്റില്‍ പരതിയാല്‍ അവരുടെ ആവലാതികള്‍ അക്കമിട്ടു നിരത്തിയത് കാണാം. ഒരു ശരാശരി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പൌരനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം പലതും ഗ്രഹിക്കാന്‍ ബുധിമുട്ടുള്ളവ ആണെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ നേരത്തെ പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.. ഒന്ന് രണ്ടു ആവലാതികള്‍ എന്റെ പ്രത്യേക ശ്രദ്ധ നേടി. അവയില്‍ ഒന്നാമത്തേത് മരുന്ന് കമ്പനികള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഉന്നയിക്കപെട്ട ആരോപണം ആണ്. മരുന്ന് കമ്പനികള്‍ ചില അവശ്യമരുന്നുകളുടെ നിര്‍മ്മാണ കുത്തക ബൌദ്ധിക സ്വത്ത് അവകാശ നിയമത്തിന്റെ പിന്‍ബലത്തില്‍ അന്യായമായി കൈവശം വച്ച് കൊള്ള ലാഭം കൊയ്യുന്നു എന്നതാണ് . ഇന്ത്യ പോലെ ഒരു ജനസംഖ്യ വിസ്ഫോടനം നടന്ന , എന്നാല്‍ മരുന്ന് ഗവേഷണ രംഗത്ത് വലിയ കുതിച്ചു ചാട്ടം ഒന്നും നടത്തിയിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ സംബധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഒരു അനുകൂലമായ നിലപാട് ആണ് സമരക്കരുടെത് എന്നതില്‍ തര്‍ക്കമില്ല .

കമ്പനികള്‍ക്കെതിരെ സമരക്കാരുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ആവലാതി , അവര്‍ പുറം ജോലി കരാറുകള്‍ നല്‍കി തദ്ദേശീയരുടെ ജോലി സാദ്ധ്യതകള്‍ തകര്‍ക്കുകയും അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളും ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങളും കവര്‍ന്നെടുക്കുന്നു എന്നത് ആണ് . കഴിഞ്ഞ അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ഒരു പ്രധാന വിഷയമായി ഇത് ഉയര്‍ന്നു വന്നിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും , പല കാരണങ്ങളാല്‍ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ നയരൂപികരണം സാധ്യമല്ലാതെ വന്ന ഒരു വിഷയം ആണ് വാള്‍ സ്ട്രീറ്റ് പിടിച്ചടക്കലുകാര്‍ വീണ്ടും കുത്തി പൊക്കി കൊണ്ട് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഈ പുറം ജോലി കരാറുകളില്‍ അമ്പത്തൊന്നു ശതമാനം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഇന്ത്യ ആണെന്നത് ആണ് ഈ ആവശ്യം ഇന്ത്യയെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം എത്ര മാത്രം പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതാണ് എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കി തരുന്നത് . പൊതുമേഖലയെ മാത്രം ആശ്രയിച്ചു , ജോലി തേടിയിരുന്ന ഇന്ത്യന്‍ യുവതയ്ക്ക് ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹം പോലെയാണ് ഇത് പോലെ പുറം ജോലി കരാറുകള്‍ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്ന വിവിധ കമ്പനികള്‍ ഇവിടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചതും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മക്ക് ഒരു പരിധി വരെ ഒരു പരിഹാരമായതും . ഓരോ വര്‍ഷവും ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക്‌ വരുന്ന പുറം ജോലി കരാറിന്റെ തോത് കൂടി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കവേ ആണ് അവിടെ ഇങ്ങിനെ ഒരു സമരം പൊട്ടി പുറപ്പെടുന്നത്.
ഈ സമരം ഇന്ത്യയിലും അനുരണനങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും അത് വഴി അല്പം രാഷ്‌ട്രീയ മൈലേജ് നേടി കളയാം എന്ന് കരുതി ആവണം കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ കൃത്യമായി മനസിലാക്കാതെ ചിലര്‍ പിന്തുണയുമായി ഇറങ്ങിയത്‌ എന്ന് വേണം കരുതാന്‍. ഈ സമരം വിജയിക്കുകയും സമരക്കാര്‍ വാള്‍ സ്ട്രീറ്റ് പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌താല്‍ , ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ വഴിയാധാരം ആവാന്‍ പോകുന്ന യുവാക്കളോട് ആരാണ് സമാധാനം പറയുക? കുറച്ചു നല്ല കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ പോലും നമ്മുടെ കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക സ്രോതസ് ഇല്ലാതാക്കുമെങ്കില്‍ നാം അതിനെ എതിര്‍ക്കുക അല്ലേ വേണ്ടത്?

This blog was created 5 years ago, and it was inactive since then. But I felt it is high time to say something on the IT Education happening in Kerala Schools. The idea of reopening the blog came to my mind when I saw a presentation on web saying IT Quiz questions and answers conducted at revenue district level along with Science Fair in 2010. I heard a lot of news from IT@School saying they are doing a lot of stuff. I felt proud about it as we are the front runner in IT education over India.

But the pathetic implementation of the projects should be an eye opener to the government. After one decade of IT@School , I am just referring this silly example to show where we are in IT education.

This question paper for Quiz at District level IT Quiz says all.
Surely, I will be coming up with more on IT@School project, because I need at least one full day to type those blunders from IT@School during these years of implementation as I watched the implementation very closely.
My fear is that this question was prepared by a Master trainer or a Senior resource person @ district level IT education !!!

A lot of questions are there , But I am copying some of the questions from the presentation , felt funny. I will translate the questions and answers as it is in malayalam

The above examples were asked to different age level students and I just picked them from here and there.
Some more funny questions were there,like "On which site you can find malayalam fonts " Exact answer is Thousands of websites. Another question is, What is www.fivedads.com? Answer provided in the presentation was, Story telling site, Exact answer is it is just a Domain name. By googling you will get tons of websites doing the same thing(Story telling), nothing unique about it. If this question is official one then I wonder, what exactly is happening in Kerala's IT education?
